At Zemoga we are really into gaming, we build them for clients, sometimes for our selves and we of course play them (see our blog post about the platforms we all love). So when I saw this article on WSJ.com it got me thinking. Some of the recent hits I have read about are by indie developers and are lower cost games. Read more

Look for us on Twitter Today!
As you probably already know, we’re on Twitter 24/7 (@zemoga and @Wilton bound are our “handles”). Today, DJ and Sven are at the Inbound Marketing Summit in San Francisco and Twitter is one of the main focuses of the discussion. In the spirit of the conference, we’ll be tweeting live from the sessions all day. Follow the discussions on the #ims09 hashtag.
As an added bonus, they’re projecting the chat stream on the conference display screens so any message you send us with that hashtag will be seen by all the conference attendees!
It’s a great example of how to integrate social media in to conference programming. How are you using all these new tools to make your conference content more engaging?

Book Review – World Wide Rave
I had the good fortune to attend David Meerman Scott‘s launch session for his latest book, WORLD WIDE RAVE back in March. It’s taken me a while to get around to reading the actual book but that’s okay. Ultimately, the book does a very good job of capturing David’s live presentation. And David’s live presentation does a very good job of capturing both the power of social media and digital marketing and communication in general.
Award Winning Web Design – Again
Last night, we received the very welcome news that we were an official honoree in this year’s Webby awards. Zemoga was recognized for it’s work on A Million Reasons to Vote, one of eight honorees in the Politics category (we received a similar award in 2008 for our “Crazy Redux” video). While it’s incredibly gratifying to be recognized by the leading interactive design awards (and to be selected from a field of over 9000 entries), I was struck by the nature of our fellow nominees. They included CNN, the Guardian, Politico and Salon. All major players with significant financial backing. And there was our site (along with a couple of other independents) keeping company with these media giants. Read more
30 Seconds to Enhanced User Experience
Has this ever happened to you?
You’re running out the door to an important client meeting (or a dentist’s appointment or to meet a friend for lunch) and you’ve forgotten their address. So what do you do? if you’re like most people you head straight for the company’s web site. You look on their home page for a “Contact Us” button and click
Digital Marketing Trends-Why Facebook (and Scoial Media) Matters
Yesterday, Facebook passed the 200 million user mark. That’s bigger than most countries.
And still there are naysayers. I mentioned FB’s new user numbers to a client yesterday and he was dismissive. “What’s the business model? Their advertising sales, suck.” And this was coming from someone who regularly designs campaigns and promotions for Facebook.
It seemed to me that his work and his clients were actually answering his own question. Read more
