1. Zemoga Climbs the Inc 5000 Ranks!

inc5000 logo copy Zemoga Climbs the Inc 5000 Ranks! It’s that time again: time for back-to-school shopping, time to take those cold-weather sweaters out of the closet, and time for Inc. Magazine to release their rankings of the top 5000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.  It’s been a pretty spectacular year for Zemoga – from developing cutting-edge e-commerce tools for Sears to raising awareness for Jaime Oliver’s Food Revolution Read More-->

  2. Our PORTAFOLIO Has Never Looked Better

portafolio blog Our PORTAFOLIO Has Never Looked Better

The end of the year came with a feather in our cap we could never have expected, to be nominated as one of the “Top Exporter of Services” by PORTAFOLIO, Colombia’s WSJ and its most respected business daily. This is an award for which consideration can’t be requested, you must be nominated, and someone, we think we know who, pointed a finger at Read More-->

  3. Zemoga at the Portafolio Awards

We strive for a balance between our thought leadership content and Zemoga news on this blog but lately there’s been so much going on that we seem to be tilting towards the latter. It’s a good problem to have, right?

We blogged a few days ago about Zemoga being nominated for the PORTAFOLIO awards honoring Colombia’s top export companies. Last week Zemoga President Alejandro Gomez and some other team members attended the award ceremonies (along with such notables as Colombian President, Alvaro Uribe). It’s yet another indicator that Zemoga has “arrived” both in the US and Latin America and with your help, we know we’ll be back at the awards ceremony again next year. Thanks to everyone who’s helped get us this far.

Check out the photos below to see our Colombian team in all their “black tie” splendor!

  4. We Would Like to Thank the Academy – Redux

sepduac1 We Would Like to Thank the Academy Redux

Clients aren’t the only ones noticing the innovative work we’re doing in the Pharmaceutical space. We’re happy to announce that our work on the DUAC site for Stiefel Laboratories has won not one but two prestigious Telly Awards! The Telly Awards recognize excellence in film and video production and Zemoga won Bronze statuettes for both our video and animation work on the DUAC site. The actual Telly statues are made by the same people who make the Emmys. So maybe we better call up our friends at HBO and get some tips on how to polish these things? Read More-->

  5. Zemoga Makes the Inc. 5000!

    Inc5000 logo Zemoga Makes the Inc. 5000!We’re # 646! We’re #646!

You don’t hear companies cheer about something like that very often. But when that’s your ranking in the INC. magazine 5000 (the listing of America’s fastest growing privately held companies) … well, let’s just say it’s a nice piece of news to dwell on at the end of the week.

Congratulations to all our colleagues, clients and partners who helped make it happen! Read More-->

  6. It’s About the Work… Right?

awards photo2 Its About the Work... Right?

Yesterdays AdAge had an interesting Op-Ed piece by Jeff Goodby (Goodby, Silverstien & Partners), where he discusses the validity of doing work just to win awards. “If we don’t reward work consumers have actually seen, we risk becoming irrelevant” is the headline and really sums up his thoughts. My thoughts are in a similar vein, but with some differences. Read More-->.

  7. Award Winning Web Design – Again

honoree black high 300x300 Award Winning Web Design Again

Last night, we received the very welcome news that we were an official honoree in this year’s Webby awards. Zemoga was recognized for it’s work on A Million Reasons to Vote, one of eight honorees in the Politics category (we received a similar award in 2008 for our “Crazy Redux” video). While it’s incredibly gratifying to be recognized by the leading interactive design awards (and to be selected from a field of over 9000 entries), I was struck by the nature of our fellow nominees. They included CNN, the Guardian, Politico and Salon. All major players with significant financial backing. And there was our site (along with a couple of other independents) keeping company with these media giants. Read More-->.
