1. What school do you go to and what do you study?
I go to Pratt Institute in NYC, earning an MFA in Communications Design.
2. How was your first day at Zemoga? What was your first impression of the Z Team?
I felt welcome and very comfortable. It didn’t seem like a “first day” – it was as if I had been working at Zemoga for long time. I appreciated receiving a welcome letter with my name and written directions of how to get in my personal e-mail account. The life-sized Elvis paper model – with his golden suit – creeped me out at first!! Every time I would turn my head, I felt as if someone was staring at me. Now we have grown to be good friends
3. What do you like to do for fun in New York?
I adore meeting with friends and exploring different neighborhoods at the Lower East Side; walking without having an end goal. When it is sunny I enjoy going on my own for walks at the Chelsea Piers, stare at the sun’s reflections in the water and daydream. I also like to visit hidden “mom and pop” type coffee places, atmospheric, cozy restaurants, museums and organize trips close to nature.
4. In your free time, what movies do you like to watch and/or what books do you like to read?
I don’t watch TV – I mostly enjoy independent movies; however, I would usually watch these movies on DVD at home. If I go to the movies, depending on my mood, the range will vary: social, dramas, and romantic comedies. I mostly enjoy reading novels (classic literature) and recently I have been very affected by short fictional stories.
5. If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?
To fly through history. How cool would it be to have a coffee with an ancestor of mine from the Byzantine Area?
